Singing in agony

Posted on Updated on

Yesterday, Folk Practice Choir met up at the Handcraft House in Ronneby to sing songs about emigration and traveling. Nowadays traveling is usually connected to happiness, adventure and thrills, but before, at least according to the songs left behind, moving meant despair, hunger, inconvenience and uncertainty.

We had a wonderful evening singing out in agony, learning trills and decorations, drone singing and pulse.
